By learning/speaking in Hindi we are not getting benefitted in any way. In Job English is enough. Only benefit we have got is that we are able to understand when Hindiwallas rudicule our language, Culture, etc.
By Learning and speaking in Hindi, we are increasing market for them in everything from TV Channels, Films, Music albums. We maybe doing this from Patriotism point of view, but they always think "We ourselves dont like Kannada, and feel free to talk against kannada in front of us". No wonder Hindi entertainment field is growing as they have huge market and at what cost ??  at the cost of Kannada market.  In recent years no good Books, Music or Films are forthcoming in Kannada because not many creative people are in that field. Creative people are going into other fields as there is no money in whatever that is kannada. There is no Money because our kannada market is very small.  In This Capitalist Economy Market decides everything.  If we do not consolidate our market atleast now, kannada will be washed away. 

Few Things which I feel is good: 

- Let us not speak Hindi anywhere in Bangalore or Karnataka. Let us stick to Kannada and limit English only to office as much as possible.
- Let us subcribe to atleast 1 kannada Newspaper
- Let us BAN "Times of India" all over karnataka. That is no-1 anti Kannada paper. This way let the message go to all anti-kannada businesses.  Deccan Herald is the good choice as it is Karnataka Newspaper.
