ಕೊಸರು: ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ನಿಘಂಟುಗಳು ಮಾಲತಿ, ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಎರಡಕ್ಕೂ jasmine (Jasminum Grandiflorum)ಎನ್ನುವ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೇಕೊಡುತ್ತಾವಾದರೂ,  ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೆಡೆ ಬೇರೆ ಅರ್ಥಗಳೂ ಇವೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ, ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾದ, ಜಾಜಿ (ಜಾಜಿಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಅಂತಲೂ ಹೇಳುವ ರೂಢಿ ಇದೆ) ಎಂದು ಬಳಸಿರುವೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗೆ www.flowersofindia.net ನೋಡಬಹುದು.
