theatre jam

A unique forum for theatre, art, dance and music

at Nanda Road Park, 11:00 am onwards

the first jam at a public space

near south end circle, you will see Bangalore's best avenue
and shade. This avenue is under threat because of "Namma Metro" We may not see
this shade for too long, so let's make use of it while it's there and share
some of our art as a tribute to the ancient park…

we will all meet at South end circle
between 11:00 and 11:30. Please call and let us know when you are there or if
you get lost

what's at the 5th jam?

sandeep shikar – a playwright and a poet from Jharkhand who
just moved to Bangalore
to explore theatre wants to read some poetry for us

mamta – will bring to the platform a folk dance
form which can lead to some rather interesting discussions

pallavi and
harsha – will display
their paintings and would like to discuss the politics of selling art

deepak – experimenting with his stream of
consciousness

vera – will go with the flow J She explores her work in public spaces
reaching from site specific performances to social art projects, does instantly
composed dance performances as a solo artist, and directs theatre work for the
stage.
