Illegal sand Mining in Talakad

We the peoples of Karnataka & Tamil Nadu are fighting even for single TMC of
Kaveri river water.The river has supported irrigated agriculture for
centuries,hydroelectric power and also served as life blood of the both
states.But recently huge Sand mining inside the Kaveri river in karnataka is allowing so
much widening of river and too much of water to waste.

There is so many sand mining is running inside the Kaveri river. Especially a huge illegal
Sand mining is running in my town Talakad, Mysore district. A famous Historical & tourism place ,‘Panchalinga Darshan” fame Talakad is get so much name for its sand hypes. A hundreds of hectars sand plant is so beautiful to see and it is not easy to cost it.
As by counting the Temples, historical backgrond,Excavations by central arecology department, and also 250acres of Forest area is devolped in
with help of “Japan country”. our High court is
banned sand mining in Talakad as “protected Area”. so there is no legal tender for sand mining in and around
Talakad.

But recently the Politicians ,the miners, two districts( Mysore &
Chamaraja nagar) top officials are all leading the illegal sand mining in
Talakad.Mines &geology,Forest,Revenu,police depertments are all kept
Silent with bribing.Daily around thousands of lorries are loaded with
sands, Which is coming from in &around of Kaveri river. kaveri river's
depth,width,area is increasing how much ?simply I can not guess it. When sand is
removig from buttom of the river the water is not flow normaly,as the depth
is gone upto to the 80 feets,then farmers & life blood is not satsified
as needed.

We some peoples are fighting against this illegal sand mining,
But we are failed very badly in this process. As like we, you are also love, commitment &
Responsibility for the kaveri river water and increasing areas of river.
I express my real feelings with my Language Kannada.
I kept some records & Photos about this Illegal sand mining. You the peoples are take attention for this illegal sand mining . As like we, you are not failed to stop all illegal sand mining in Kaveri river. Hopefully I wait eagerly a weapon is thrown towards the Karnataka Government about this issue, to permanently stop this sand mining,
