ಸ್ವರಭಕ್ತಿ!

epenthesis ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಧ.  

೧. anaptyxis

೨. excrescence

 

ದ್ವಿತ್ಯಾಕ್ಷರಗಳ ನಡುವೆ, ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ತಂದು,  ವ್ಯಂಜನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ "ಸ್ವರಭಕ್ತಿ" ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರು.   ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ anaptyxis ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.

 

ಉದಾ.

ಖಡ್ಗ > ಖಡುಗ

ಭಕ್ತಿ > ಬಕುತಿ

ಯುಕ್ತಿ >ಯುಕುತಿ

ಪ್ರೀತಿ > ಪಿರೀತಿ

....

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ.

 

೨. excrescence

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದ್ವಿತ್ಯಾಕ್ಷರಾಗಳನ್ನು, ಅದರ (ಅವುಗಳ?)   ನಡುವೆ ವ್ಯಂಜನವನ್ನು ತಂದು  ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ excrescence ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
