ಸುಭಾಷಿತ

ಯಾಜ್ಞ್ಯವಲ್ಖ್ಯ ಸ್ಮೃತಿ:

संभूय वणिजां पण्यमनर्घेणोपरूंधताम्
विक्रीणतां वा विहितो दण्ड उत्तमसाहसः
यज्ञवल्क्यस्मृति

ಅರ್ಥ:
The vendors all gang up on the producers and force them to sell their produce for cheap. They then sell the same to consumers at high prices. Such vendors must be heavily fined. (Laws for fair market practices were in existence so long ago)

ಭಗವದ್ಗೀತೆಯ ಶ್ಲೋಕ:

अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते।
तेषां नित्याभियुक्तानां योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम्‌॥
— भगवद्गीता ९-२२

ಅರ್ಥ:
The devotees, who loving no one else constantly think of Me, and worship Me in a disinterested spirit, to those ever united in thought with Me, I bring full security and personally attend to their needs.
