ದನಿಯೊಂದು ಹೇಳಿತು, ಚುಕ್ಕಿಗಳಲ್ಲೆನ್ನ ನೋಡಿ

ಮತ್ತೆ ದಿಟದಿ ನುಡಿಯಿರಿ, ಭುವಿಯ ಮನುಜರೆ,

ಮನದ ಮತ್ತು ಮೈಯ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಲೆಗಳು

ಹುಟ್ಟಿಗೆಂದು ತೆತ್ತ ಈ ಬೆಲೆ ಅತಿಯಲ್ಲವೆ.
